ty enter the county fair in a oo-
ordinated effort. Through this move
the Future Farmers of America ex
pect to put on a much better ex
hibit at the county fair.
Plana were diacuaaed to have
each chapter in the county act as
boat to the Future Farmers during
the comtng yedr. At ihli tane chain
pigs given by the Camden Rotary
Club will be visited by the federa
tion. It ts the aim of this program
to create more interest on proper
care ahd management of swina. The
FFA plans to have a credible exhib
it of these hogs at the county fair.
Chains and contesta sponsored by
the Camden Klwanla Club, Cham
ber of CtKumeree and other clubs
and agencies will receive the same
attenti<gi.
The agriculture teachers and vet
eran teachers meet regularly with
officials of the county Farm Bu
reau, and have a cooperative pro
gram with the adult farmers. Agri
culture teachers, veteran teachers,
and Future Farmers of America
have an extensive program ot cot
ton inaect control, advocating the
use of i per cent BHC—6 per cent
DDT. They are also making period
ic checks and infestation counts
on the b(dl weevil.
