Women’s College of the University

12 and 13.
The Dance Group, an extra-cur
ricular activity of Converse’s Phy
sical Elducation Department, will
present an original dance, the
choreography for which was de
signed by the students themselves.
Miss Janet Gibson is the group’s

For College Students
One of the most delightful
parties of the winter social season
was the garden party and chicken
stew given by Mrs. J. Nettles Lind
say, Mrs. Caleb Whitaker, Jr., and
Mrs. W. R. Bonsai for their sons.
John Lindsay, Mert Whitaker, stu
dent at St Andrews. Middletown,
Del., and Rock Bonsai. Jr., who
is attending St. Marks in Boston,
Mass.
These young gentlemen are
spending their Blaster and spring
holidays here. The party was given
in the Whitaker garden on Monday
evening and was attended by ap
proximately 40 of the young girls
and boys home for spring vaca
tions from various schools.
Group singing, dancing and con
tests were enjoyed until a late
hour.

The last “Cool Springs” Cotillion
of the season has been danced and
young ladies and gentlemen said
"thank-you” to their hostess, Mrs.
Kent Miller, in a most appropriate

tiful antique drop leaf table, crystal
vase of spring flowers and a box
of candy In appreciation of her
patience and energy In directing
and training the young social set

Approximately 60 young people par-

and many of the parents were in
terested spectators.
The lovely and spacious rooms
