Cheer Leaders
Praised By Public
At first glance you might think
it is the ’’Rockettes”. the famous
rythemetic dancers of the Roxy
theater in New York, but on second
glance you discover it’s the seven
lovely talented cheer leaders of the
Camden high school football team.
These seven lucjous damsels, Billy
Smith, Molly Ogbum, Betty Nelle
Powers, Alice Wilson, Rosalee She
been, Dolly Dean Beard and
Wyrlan Ross are the most beauti
fully groomed cheer leaders that
Camden high school has had in
many a day and as this writer al
ways sits on the opposite side of
the field for part of each gam^ she
has opportunity for comparison
with our visiting cheer leaders.
Our girls, like the “Rockettes”
oress identically and conduct them-
•4elves with the dignlEr befitting
their positions. The originality of
their cheers along with the riiytbm
with which they are executed are
very super-super—Give the little
girls a great big hand!!!
