The Free Will Baptist Bible
school for roung people was held
SA Bethel Camp Ground from June
it to June 2f. which was enjoyed
bf 73 students and now the par-
ssts and churches from which they
come are proud of them. Bt4^ sid-

•cept two, received a special blees-
llig. Forty were saved; 22 sancG-
fled and 16 received the Holy Ghost
and on Saturday afternoon, June
X, 26 were baptised.
Each student was given a cer
tificate at the close of the school.
Some took special lessons in
music, piano, also, string music
snd singing.
Classes were arranged so as to

each night with Rev. Ray Ramsey

The weighing platform has been
n^de larger and R. A. Bruce, Cam
den's old welgher„ will be In
charge. Mr, Bruce has weighed as
much as SO to 40 thousand bales
on' this market in a year and with
competition at its peak there la
no reason why‘at least 25.000 bales
should not be handled here sn-
nuslly. iSvb local mills are using
cotton from this area.
It is understood that there will
wril be sufficient labor on the plat
form to imload the farmers cot-
ten, something lacking for several
years; also the police department
will see thsd there is always plenty
of parking space for trucks and
wagons hauling cotton to park (or
indefinite periods, so that the farm
ers will have plenty of time to
market their cotton proi>erly.'

proved their machinery to the ex
tent that no better samples Sre
produced anywhere. There has
been a complaint for sometime that
cotton seed does not bring the
price here that it d(^s in other
localities and jt would be a good
job for tne Chamber of Commerce
to inveetlgate this fact and by all
means ^ that the seed market
be brought up to nearby markets.
