Weet, preeident, called the meetlas
to order. Mias Stamas, educational
director of the Baptist church,
gave an Inspirins devotional after
which the council creed was led by
Mrs. MatUe R. Weet.
Mrs. 0. J. Smyrl, president of
the South Carolina. CouncU of
F^nn Wommi. brought greetings
from the state conncil.
One of the highlights ot the meet
ing was tbs awarding of diplomat,
seals and 13 12-year pins. Mrs. Mat-
tie West ^received a seal for 16
yfears club work. She w^ also
given a corsa^ by the coanclT for
her outstanding wimrlc and

Miss Gene Williams rendered '
lovely vocal selection, “An Old
Fashioned Garden”, accompanied
at the piano by Mrs. A. D. McAm.

roll called by the secretary, Mrs.
