The annual Camden dog show,
better known as the Lenten dog
show, will be held in Rectory
Square FYlday aftwnoon, March
28.
At this canine exhibition, which
was started 11 years ago by the
late Dr. Maurice Clarke of Grace
Episcopal chuyeh, the very ‘finest
in all breeds of dogs is shown.
There are sufficient classes ar
ranged so as to accommodate the
owner of most any kind of a dog.
The affair is sponsored and
presented by the young people of
Grae Episcopal church and all of
the proceeds goes into the Lenten
offering of this group of alert and
vigorous boys and girls.
Efforts are being made to sc
cure a Judge from outside of tho
community.

We betieve there is nothing more important to
Uiia country than to lower the prices of the
goods that people buy.
The American people have insisted that the
government withdraw" from its attempts to
control prices in peacetime. That places the
responsibility where it belongs—in the hands
of business and industry.' Not all business'can
reduce prices now. Not all can reduce by the
same amount.
Our company has felt a duty to act as
promptly as possible. In our .pase, the busi
ness outlook now makes it possible to move
toward the gqal of lower prices. The only way
out of the vicious circle of higher and higher
-JPfkes t8,to break through.
We have taken this step not becauke of
present competitive conditions nor because oi
a drop in demand from customers. We have
taken it because of our belief that ANY PRICE
IS TOO HIGH IF IT CAN BE REDUCED.
These reactions, which will save the users
of our products approximately $20,000,000 a
year, will become effective before April t, and
will apply to a selected list of tractor, farm
machine, motor truck, and industrial poww'
pgoducts. Since we loee money on a few of our
pcoducts, and barely break even on some
oAfascs, theae reductiona will not apply to our
ling. Reductions wiU be made indi-
vidosUy on products. Some will be cut more
than others. Exact details will bo announced
