Mendel Lee Morris, 23, Charlotte,
is facing trial In federal court in
Columbia for the theft of an auto
mobile in Miami, Fla., and John E.
Darwin, 43, Charlotte, wUl be tried
in police court here for driving a
car without having a driver’s
license.
Morris is alleged to have stolen
the car at Miami and driven to
Charlotte where he picked up Dar
win. They were on their way to
Columbia when gathered in by Po
lice Officers Rose and Mayer on
suspicion.

through the business district of the

parade will start at the Agricultur

sonth to the fair grounds where the
calves'will be on display and also
vie for intense interest in the part
of farmers who will flock to the
city to view the ipectacle.
