The auditorium of Trinity Meth
odist church was Jammed to capa
city by the throng seeking to hear
this masterful musical menu. Many
stood outside and sought comfort
in hearing the singing through
windows iQid doors.,
The large section of the colored
church set apart for white speo-
Utors was filled, and from this
group came the enthusiastic ap
proval of a program that exempli
fied the talents of this fine group
of singers.
Rev. Settle is a akllled director.
He kBows his ilhgers and has the
ability to bring out their best ef-
foru. Every member of the choir
was an artist in the true sense of
the word. The exquisite blending
of the fine voices'was encompassed
of the five voices was encompasssd
Into s msgnifleent chord of melody
by the able director.
After bearing Rev. Settle and
his choir, it can readily be under
stood why the group snjoys uw
rating on radio networks. It was
a privilege to have heard the alng-
era In person.
To those recponsible for bringing
this superb group to Camden
should go tbs thanks of svsry
music lover. It was inspiration,
musical and most worthy.
Those la charge of the Omden
presentation are to be eongratn-
lated upon the manner in which
the huge crowd was handled.
There was a complete abeenoe of
confuion, no notoy interruptions
to mar tte beauty of the music
and wlthaU a courtesy of attentlaB
that was most outstanding.
Infant Son Of
Rauseos Passes
Joseph Gregory Rauseo, tafant
son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Rauseo,
Mill street, died Saturday afternoon
at 1:45 o’clock.
The funeral was held Sunday
afternoon at 2:15 o’clock with In
terment In the Gregory lot at Ker
shaw esmetmry. Father Bnrka of
the Cathedie church officiated.
The plentltnde of beautiful flow
ers that were in evidence indicated
the sorrow of scores of frtonds
of Mr. and Mrs. Rsnseo. Mrs.
Ranseo was the former Lorene
Gregory.
