Celebrates Birthday
Kent Miller, Jr., celebrated his
seventh birthday on ’Tuesday with
a theater party seeing the famous
horse picture, "Gallant Bess," and
later to the Greenleaf Villa for re
freshments.

Helen Sheffield, Caral Buckley.

pastor of the First Baptist church
and his wife will be honored at a
reception. This social is given in
order that the entire membership
might have the opportunity of

Of Lovely Party

gave a large Valentine buffet sup
per and dance Friday evening, Feb
ruary 14, at the American Legion
hall, Pilchard circle. Fifty guests
were invited and dancing was en
joyed until a late hour. The re
freshment table was beautifully ar
ranged with a Valentine floral cen
terpiece and tall silver candlesticks
with red tapers.

Bridge Club Meets

tertained^ this week by Mrs. M. EL
Moody at the McLeod residence on
Laurens Court. Mrs. Austin She

Bingo Party Success Entertain At Bridge
The Nurses Alumni of the (lam-

bingo party at St. Mary’s hall on

pany. Many of the game awards
were prizes donated by the merch
ants and citizens of Camden. Coca-

den Garden club plans to hold an
antique show in March ih one of
the town’s old residences. ’The d>

and Bill Jennings, all of Camden,
entered the Unlvmity of South
Carolina last week at mid-term
semester. They are all veterans of
World War II.

For Square Dance
The Junior class is sponsoring
a square dance in the high school
gym on February 2S. Everyone is
invited to Join the fun.
The music will be furnished by
the Taylor Brothers. Everybody Is
