Curry, according to local police records, resided at 710 Church street, here, and sereral years ago was given a IS month sentence to the Kershaw county road gang after he had burglarized the Roxy cafe. He waa taken into custody shortly after the burglary through some good work on the part of the police department Curry was drafted during the war and when on duty In Germany was given a seven months stockade sentence for an assault on a com manding officer. Curry was discharged from the army four months ago, but be re mained at Fort Dlx when he se cured an MP arm band, which he attached to his sleeve.
