Bennie Wilson, colored, 9-year-oid
son of Centha and Hester Wilson,
residing on a farm on the Quion
plantation in Logoff, died at the-
Camden hospital ahortly after mid
night Saturday as the result of
iurns sustained when his clothing
Ignited from aparks from a tire
place.
According to members of tbe
family the boy was pUying about
in front of the fire place when his
clothes caught firs. The boy rt'sh-
ed about the room frantically beat
ing at the flames.
When members of the family had
finally anbdned tho fire, all the
boys clothing had been burned
from his body. Ho was rushed to
the hospital and died there an
honr later.
