Vereen Attractive Emily Elisabeth Stev enson became the bride of Edward William Vereen Sunday afternoon at 12:S0 o’clock at a simple but im pressive eeremonf in historic Bethesda Presbyterian churdh. Rev. A. Douglas Meijra officiating astd using the double ring ceremony. During the ritual. Mrs. A. D. McArn played traditional nuptial music on the organ. The bride’s costume featured a Chartreuse wool dress, a feathered hat and black accessories. Also a corsage of white tube roses. The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. R. E. Stevenson of this city and received her education in the Camden schools and the Uni versity of South Carolina. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Vereen of this city , receiving his education in the Camden schools, was employed at the South ern Aviation school here, served three years in the air forces during the war and is now attending the University of South Carolina. Mrs. Kerrison is the daughter of Major General and Mrs. Gustav Henry* Franke. United Stetes army (retired), of Camden, temporarily residing at their Myrtle Beach home. The bride was born In Manila, Philippine Island, and was edn cated at Alabama Polytecnic Insti tute St Aobnm, Ala. Mr. Kerrison Is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Edwin Heriot Kerrison of Camden and Charleston. He was bom In Camden but spent most of his life In Char leston.
