Mrs; Anna Karesh Schlosburg, who
died at 12:06 Timrsday morning at
her home, 402 Laurens street, lUter
an illneu of several years dura
tion. She Was the widow of the late
Barry L. Bcblosbnrg.
The deceased, while bom at
BrancbvHle, October 2, 1875, had
spent prsctlcaily all of her life In
Camden, where she nnmbered her
friends legion. Philanthropic, of
pleasing personality and outstand
ing in her devotion of her family,
her death will be received with
much sympathy and sorrow by thb
entire commnnlty.
She leaves three sons, Leon H.,
Carl S.. and BHhu Schlosburg, of

Jury after an inquest In the matter
of the desth of four ex-servic<« men
in the baralng of the Catoe Filling
station and Innch room on the
Camden-Charlotte hignway Just out
side of the Kershaw city iimlU on
Monday, November 11.
High-lighting the inquest was the
introduction of a statement made
by Jack Outen, Kersh&w youth who
was badly burned In the fire and
who Is now In a hospital In which
Oaten describes the Igniting'of a
sky rocket which toomed Into the
fire crackers and fireworks tkat
had been nnloaded less than a hour
and a half previously.
The statement states thst Oaten
could not say definitely whether It
was his hand that Ignited the rock
el or whether it had been done by
Jesse Oaten, brothOT of one of the
victims of the tire. Onten said that
aftOT >the explosion he did not re
member anyUilng until he* came to
in a hospital.
