Presi dent Truman to order a raise in the loan value of cotton and also had urged the Commodity Credit corpor ation to . buy approximately 100,000 bales of cotton. Richards attended a meeting in the capital to consider methods of stopping the plunge in cotton prices and to bolster disorganized cotton efdhanges. " Richards declared that "on a jasis of supply and demand, there s no Justification for the market break." “Not to mention the short crop this year," he went on, "there Is now only a carry over of about 7,- 000,000 bales as compared with over 11,000,000 bales a year ago, and with a record carry over of 13,000,- 000 bales in 1939. "There is no doubt that unscrup ulous speculators caused the mar ket break, and while I am not in terested in their plight, I am inter ested in the plight of the farmers, ginners, cotton processors, cotton merchants and others who are in nocent and helpless victims of tho debacle.” Athletes Foot Germ Imbeds Deeply To CauM Painful CraeklnOf Burning, Itol^g.
