mittee met Thursday, August 15, at
10 a. m., and declar^ all officers
running without opposition as being
elected.
Races in which a majority of votes
were received and declared elected
were:. Senate, treasurer, game war
den, director DeKalb Township, di
rector West Watereo, magistrate Flat
Rock, magistrate Lower Wateree.
In other races where a majority of
votes were not received, a second
primary was ordered to be held on
Tuesday, September S, 1946.
Those in the second primary will
