noons, and moTies and stunts at night

of Sunday baseball last Sunday whM
two colored teams, the Camden Red
So* and the Florida Ail Stars played
a full-nine inning gnme before oue of
the largest crowds to gather la Le

The condeiqnation board of the
state hii^wsy department conducted
a hearing at the court house Tuesday
morning upon the matter of condemn
ing certain parcels of land on High
way 270 out of Blaney for the pur
pose of establishing a detour for
trarel on U. S. Highway No. 1.
Such a detour would be necessarv’
since the state plans on rebuilding
the orerhead that bridges the Sea
board railway main line track
The present orerhead is narrow
and rough and a source of danger to
motorists.' •
