brotjxers of the bridegroom.
The-maid of honor was Miss Bev
erly Denny of BlshopviUe, who was
dressed in pink net and carried a
bouquet of white lilies.
The bridesmaids were the Misses
^tay Brown, Ava Dittle, Jack Gardner
and Wilson Gardner who wore match
ing dresses of marquisette of yellow
aud acqua. They carried bouquets of
yellow calla-lilles tied with large yel
low bows.

Entering on the arm of her father,
Barr H. Gardner, and given in mar
riage by him, the bride was radiant
in her wedding gown of white duchess
satin and tulle. The skirt extended
Into a fun train. Her flnger-tlp veil
was caught to her hair with pearls
and orange blossoms. She carried a
bouquet of white sweetheart roses
centered with a white purple throated
orchid and a handkerchief which was
used by her great aunt, Mrs. W. W.
Gardner, 50 years ago.
The brides parents entertained at
ja reception at their home immediately
following the ceremony. For traveling
the bride changed to a pasted blue

nishopvilla high school and Clemson
college. He has recently returned from
17‘’months service in the European
campaign.
Mr. and Mrs. Denny will be at
home in BlshopviUe until fill when
' Mr. Denny will go to Clemson to

CHERAW—The Camden Juniors
bagged their third game from Cheraw
last Thursday, winning by a score of
15 to 7 in a free-hitting contest.
Horton went tha route for the Cam
den team and pitched good bail. Cam
den had no troubla in getting at the
offerings of two Chera>^ pitchers.
It was Camden’s fourth win in as
many starts.
