The June meeting of tte United
Daughters of tho Confederacy met in
the home of Mrs, A. C. Drswdy on
Mill street. There were thirteen mem-
ben present
The meeting opened with a prayer
by Mrs. W .R. Zemp. The members
repeated together the pledge to the
United States flag and the salute to
the Confederate flag.
The chapter decided, to have mar-
kera made- for the Confederate graves
la Quaker cemetery. A treasurer re
port stated a balance of 176.00. The
photograph of General John D. Ken
nedy was presented to the chapter
before it was placed in the UDC
museum In Columbia, S. C.
