STRIKE SITUATION
The strike leaders have surely
overplayed their hands. At last they
got the American people aronsed by
their arrogance a^ indifference to
the public welfare. I am sorry for
this because I believe in intelligent
collective bargaining with arbitration
as a last resort. But when a Lewis
or a Whitney holds a pistol on our
heads to force the signing of a con-
tract, this is revocation and Insnrrec-
‘tion. Let us hope congress will mske
this impossible to occur again.
