Troop 15 of Columbia and Troop 52 St. Matthews tied for the first place honors. Troop 15 of Columbia is sponsored by tha First Prasbytarian church and has as its sooptmaster, R. E Orier. Jr. Troop 62 is sponsored by the St Matthews Lions club and has as its scoutmaster, L. R. Kirk. The second place winner was Troop 6 of Colum bia, sponsored by tha Shandon Pres byterian church and has as its scout master, Read Boyd. Third place want to Troop 27 of Wlnnsboro, sponsored by Wlnnsboro Mills with Dudley E Pate as scoutmaster. Fourth place west to Troop 29 of Laesrille with D. D. Barr, Jr., as scoqtmaster. Troop II and 62, the winning troops, will both loTing cups aspermahint property. The troops competed in the following arents; Signaling, first aid, tent pitching, fire building and itring burn ing, fires by flint and steal, fire by friction, undressing race, knot tying, antelope race, and a Tug-o’-War. Scouts were awarded IndiTldual medals for taking first places in these erants. The following troops also partlcL pated in tha Rally and are giren in the order that they ffnisbad: Troop 22, Columbia; . Troop 6, ' Columbia; Troop 1. West Columbia, and Troop 58. During the war' years only one plate has been issued each vehicle. Color, scheme for the next plates will be black nnmerala on y^low- orange background. Current plates are silver numerals on black. Dirsetor W.
