strike Saturday when the SeidxMlrd
Air Line railway announced the dis
continuance of seven trains, neces
sitated by the dwindling coal pile oi'
the ta'ilroad.
J.- L. Carter, division passenger
agent of the Seaboard, said the trips
last Saturday ot Seaboard tiaioa Nos,
1 and 4 would be their last ^tU tber
Seaboard’s coal supply is replenished.
Train No. 1, which lOaves Richmond
at 10:46 p. m.. and passes through
Camden,for Jacksonville in the morn
ing, -is a local train. Train No. 4,
which leaves Jacksonville at 16:25
p. m. and passes in the moralng, fpr
Hamlet and Richmond, is somewhat
faster though it makes several stops.
Train No. 191, ths Palnidand, will
do the work of No. 1, said Mr. Carter.
The twin Silver Meteors and the
Sun Queen, Nos. 107-108 presumably
will be' unaffected by the coal ihort-
pin_ since they are diesel-powered
^•sndHwvfi fuel oil.
Mother Seaboard trains affected by
the curtailment are: 1 and 2 between
Richmond.; and Hamlet; Nos. 18 u
14 between Norllna and Portsmoudk
and 108 between Tampa and SL

Assailant Is
Held In Death
Of H. H. Wilson
Hampton Hugo 'Wilson, Btohopville,
age 42, died in the Camden hospital
last Thursday week as the result of
Injuries received when he was at
tacked by “Boo” Rogers, also ot Bton-
opvUle.
Wilson was brought to the local
hospital in the morning when he fail
ed to arouse from a stupor that over
came him during the nltdit following
the assault in ths' bnsiness section
of Bishopville.
Ro^rs, who lodt an arm several
y^ears ago, was taken to the Lee coun
ty Jail at Btohopville after the aa-
tmuH. Later, at an Inquest it de
veloped that Wilson and Rogmi met
on the street in the business section
of the Lee county seat and began fight
ing. Rogers who to exceptionally
strong with his one arm knocked Wil
son to the pavepient several times.
