Lemuurd Schenk Announce Engagement Mr. and Mrs. Steve Perry, of 114 DeLeon Drive, Miami Springs, Flori- da, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Charlotte, to Mr. Claud Lamoy, Jr., of Camden, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Lamoy, of Morrl- sonville. New York. Miss Perry, who with her parents originally from Cam den, has been a resident of Miami and Miami Sprihgs for jseventeen years. Mr. Ljimoy was recently discharged from the Army A)r Forces after hav ing served overseas with the Eighth Air Corps. He will resume and com plete his studies at the University of South Carolina, then enter'medical college. The wedding date is to be announced later. Munn and the late Henry E. Munn ry E. of this city, became the bride of John ny E. Nelson of Buffalo, N. Y. The marriage rite was performed by Father Edmund Bu .ke. £rladi<di and ferns were used to decorate the ceremony room in the rectory. The bride was attended by Miss Carol Hammond as maid of honor while the best man was Mat thew Munn, brother of the bride. The bride wore a soft blue suit with black and white accessoridi add she carried a white Bible topped with white gardenias. Following the ceremony ‘ a buffet luncheon was served at the home of the bride’r^mother, the guests being idembers of the family and close friends. The young touple will make their home in Buffalo. She graduated grom Midway high school with honors and attend ed Spartanburg Junior College. For the past seven years she has been employed with the Post Ordinance at Fort Jackson. Mr. Ford is the eldest son of Mrs. Mickle Ford and the late^ Mr. Ford of Camden. He attended the Qjimden city schools and Is now assistant manager of Byd’s Shoe store in Co lumbia.
