The Myers Motor company, sueces-
sors to Myers Garage and with T.
Les Myers as sole owner and* man
ager, has been named as agent for
the StudeJbaker, line of cars, accord
ing to announcement by the Stude-
baker corporation this week.
While none of the 1944 models of
the „Studebaker line have been re
ceived as yet, several cars are ex
pected next week, at which tiihie
will go on dlaplay in. the finely ap-
pointed display and salesroom of the
Myers Motor company on East De-
Kalb street Just east of Mill street.
For the put several months, car
penters-and painters have been active
at the garage of the Myers Motor com
pany and all that remains to complete
the handsome front is the plate glass
for the display room. This is expected
within a week or ten days.
The display room is finished In
natural pine paneling with a tile red
floor, masonite ceiling and it is light
ed by two of the latest in floureacent
fixtures, 'nm parts display section
is at the rear and has a shelf that is
finished in battle ship linoleum with
chrome border.
At the rear of the display room is
a ladies wash room while a stairway
l^ads to a mazzanine floor upon which
is located a handsome office suite,
which Is arranged for air condition
ing.
Mr. Myers has ordered attractive
chrome and leather furniture for the
display room.

pictures were outstanding and many
were used by the various press syn-
ers in and around this area.
Prior to entering the army, Mr.
McCumber was engaged in commer
cial photography if* Syracuse, N. Y.,
and for one year on the camera staff
of March of Time. His pictures for
the article “Story of Texas’’ were
outstanding.
During the war he Served with the
signal corps in the South Pacific,
theaters. It was while he was in the
South Pacific that he took the pic-
turee that were listed in a folder
known as a “documentary motion
picture of New Zealand.” This effort
was placed in the United Nations
records.
