Mr. and Mrs. Robert HaRer and

Goodale. Mrs. Halter is the former
.Miss Jean Harris. Mr. Halter has
been serving wHh the Army Signal
Corps for two years In the Pacific
and Is now on terminal leare.
Major Thomas Edwin Goodale and
family are located In Unlontown,
Alabama. Major Goodale was dis
charged from the army In January-
He has wjturned to Unlontown where
he becomes manager of the Buckeye
Cotton Oil company of that commun
ity. He Is the son of Mr. and Mm.
T. E. Goodale, Lyttleton street, this
city.
Jack Dixon, who for the past thir
teen years has been engaged In the
grocery business, fire yearn with the
Gladden market and alx yean with
the Camden Pood shop, has become
affUiated with the M. L. WeU pack
age shop.

school in June, 1942, and since that
time haa held several positions In
Camden. She recently returned from
Miami, Fla., where she was employed
by Pan American Airwajrs-
Mr. Marsh Is the son of Mr. Mark
S. Marsh and the late Mra. Bertha
Stokes Marsh. He attended Antioch
High school and recently returned

with 84 months overseas.

oording to the War Department’s
plan, the Red Cross Chapter at the
ports of New York and San Francisco
will be given names and addressee of

whom they are going. The Port Chap
ter wlH in turn wire the Chapter in
the community where the relatives
reside, asking that a chapter worker
make sore that the relatives expect
and are prepared to receive the de

The talk entitled "Meaning of the
Red Cross" given at the Annual
meeting by Mtos Jennie McMaster,
was one of.the most interesting and
instructive expositions of Red Croes
work that has been given in Camden.

We desire to distribute as equitably as possible all ship
ments of Nylon Hose which we may receive in the near future.
We want each lady in Camden and surrounding territory to ob
tain at least one pair of Nylons from our Hosiery Department;'
Therefore, we have made arrangments for the ladies above six
teen to register for Nylon Hose in our store during the period
noted above by simply signing a card and indicating size of
hose. Each card will he numbered consecutively and when Ny
lon Hose arrive we will mail postcards to as many customers as
there are pairs of hose in our shipment. The cards will be sent
to the first group of names appearing on our numerical regis
tration list. Then when another shipment of Nylons arrives
additional cards will be mailed to the next group of names reg
istered numerically and so on until each lady has a chance to
secure a pair of Nylons.
Registration will be closed on February 20th; no natnes
will be accepted after that date.
No lady may register more than once, nor may she ro
ister for anyone other than herself. Men will not be permitted
to register.
