hear of the sudden passing of Mr.
Henn^ Watkins, who had spent his
army more than a year ago. Their

Steve West, who spent two weeks
with relatives here, returned to his
home in Florence last Friday, Mrs.
West and son came up and spent a
few days here and acompanied her

dent, is receiving congratulations on
winning $200.00 for writing articles
in the Progressive Farmer.
Mr. and Mrs. William Wells, of
Wshopville, spent Tuesday night with
their uncle and aunt, Mr, and Mrs. J.

furlough with his parents here and

They were dinner guests of his par
ents Christmas day.
