daughters, who have been living in
the Beaver Creek section, have moved
into the big residence here with their
parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. Z. Hilton.
Mrs. O. W. Perry and son, G. W.
Perry of Lancaster, were visitors in
our village Sunday evening.
Rev. and Mrs. P. A. Dunnan return
ed Sunday after visiting for several
days in Camden.
Miss Faye Towne of Barnwell, was
a week-end visitor of her sister, Mrs.
R. J. Wardlaw, Jr.
Pfc. John B. Cureton, who has been
in Florida, has been transferred to
Wisconsin and left on Friday.
Miss Sophie Richards of the Ashe-
wood schools. Miss Callie Jones of
Columbia city schools and Miss Mari
on Richards of Sumter schools spent
the week-end at their homes here.
E. L. Jones has added a saw mill
in connection with the Macky Jones
Co.’s cotton ginnery and discarded
steam power for motor power.
