A R. chapter bad its fall meeting 'Thursday after noon, Sept. 27. at Mrs. Marvins. The regent, Mrs. Von Tresekow, called the meeting to order. The usual ritual was followed. Quite a aumber of members were preeent, also two visitors, Mrs. Muller of Columbia, and Mrs. T. O. Boland of Blackville. Reports from all offlcww were un usually good. The chapter decided to study some of the countries which have been brought so close to our attention during the war, and even now. Korea will be the study for Oct. meeting. Mrs. Wall read the story of our Flag being placed on Korean soli by American jMuntroopers. The State regent’s message was read. Mrs. Mul- Iwv gave an enjoyable poem which added much to the program. It was voted and deckled to make annual dues three dollars per member. Chapter then adjourned.—Mrs. W. F. Nettles corresponding secretary.
