DeLoach who reside in a San FYancisco suburb, got a breath of home when they picked up a San Francisco Chronicle recently and gaxed upon a home-town story that had been broadcast by the Associated Press. The story codeerned tb« women's regime at the Kershaw county court house and was captioned '‘This Court house Has the Women's Touch." The story spoke of the serwal of fices that were at the time held by women execuUres. Mrs. Lena Cly- burn is clerk of court, Mrs. J.^ H. Mc Leod, Sr., is sheriff. Mrs. Btta'^ Hough, game warden and Mrs. Kathleen Watts, superintendent of education. In a letter to the Heath Neys Serv ice, which gives Camden and Kershaw county Associated Precs coverage, Mrs. DeLoach states that their atten tion waa called to the Item in the Frisco paper by Dave Blackwell, form er Camden recldent, who brought the paper to them. Urece Episcopal church will be closed during the mouth of August while the rector. Dr. Maurice Clarke, and Mrs. Clarke, will sojourn at Myrtle Beach. The services next Sunday will be the usual holy communion observance at 8 a. m. and there will be holy com munion and sermon by Dr. Clarke at 11;IB a. m. The chui^ wtR vesume services on Sunday, Sept. 2, and it la the wish of the rector that all members of the parish make It a point to be present at services on that date.
