prominent attorney ' at Spartanburg
and bom and raised in Camden, died
at a Spartanburg hospital Thursday
following an illness of two months
doration. He had engaged in the
practice of law at Spartanburg for
the past 45 years.

name of the act is a misnomer. It
could more properly be called The
Unfair Practices Act’ or ’An act to
establish racial and religious hatred
and to promote strife among the peo
ple of America’.”
