, One reason the pulpwood shortage it still so acute
is that the supply problem is far more difficult in the
Pacific than in Europe. Supplies have to be ^uble
and even triple wrapped for the long haul Pulpwood
is now one of our most serious war material shortages
and is on the War Production Urgency List.'
By cutting pulpwood, farmers are helping shortet
the war; giving themselves another source of cash
income; and helping themselves raise and market
their other crops, since one of die largest uses of paper
and paperboard is in packing agricultural products
