To the strains of the Lohengrin wedding march, played by Mra. F. N. MeCorkle, the bride' came down the stairs and was met by her brother, Jtdin Henry McLeod, Jr., who gave her in nmrrisge. Prior to the cere mony soft wedding music was played by Mfs. MeCorkle. The groom was attended by Ellis Frailer Blakeley, Jr., as best man. The bride wore a wedding dress of heavy Ivory satin with a deep neck line emboridered In seed pearls/ The long tight sleeves were pointed onto s long train. The full length veil was taught from a tiara of seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of wblte carna tions and baby spray, centered with a purple lipped orchid. ’ Mrs. McLeod, mother of the ttHde. wore a white eyelet dress a shoulder corsage of white cat^jattohs: Mrs. Blakeley, mother of the groom, wore an aqua dress with a shoulder corsage of pink rose buds. Immediately following the cere mony a reception was held. The bride’s table was centered with a three tiered' wedding cake which the fcouple cut. A crystal bowl of white daisies and Queen Ann lace, flanked with crystal candlesticks holding arhite candles was on each end of the table. Punch was served from' a bowl, presided over by Mtos Nancy Watts. Later In the evening Mr. Blakeley and hto bride left on a wedding trip, after which they will go to Norfolk, Va. For traveling Mra. Blakeley wore a two piece suit of lavender with white accesBOriee. and an orchid lapel corsage. The bride, daughter of Mrs. J. H. Leod, received her education at !amden High school, Winthrop col lege and Unlversitjr of South Carolina. She was a raemMr of Pi Beta So- rolty. ’The groom, son pf Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Blakeley, received hto edu cation at Calumbla High school and University of South Carolina. He was a memhw and president of Kappa Alpha fraternity.
