A drive for fnnds for the United
Jewish Appeal is now being made all
over America. The United Jewish
Appeal consists of two organlsstlops,
tbs Joint Distribution committee knd
the United Palestine Appeal. Tha
Joint Distribution committee rescues
refugees of all faiths from Hitler’s
Oennany and conqusred countries.
These refugees are fed, clothed and
moved from 'the fighting zones. ’Hien
they are rehabilitated.
Most of these refugees are Jews
since the brunt of Hitler’s fury fell
upon the Jewish people, however any
anti-Nasis of Catholic or Protestant
faith, who are refugees from the Nazis
srs also taken care of by the Joint
Distribution committee.
The United Palestine Appeal pro
