HENDRIX WED Of wide social interest was the wed- dhtg of Miss Dorothy Brin McCnen and Ll Georgs 'Taimsge Hendrix, Jr., which took place Tuesday evening, December 12. at 7:20 P. M., in the Flist Baptist church at Ware Shoals. The ceremony was performed by the Rev, H. G. Wbeeler In the presence of a large number of relatives and friends. A program of wedding music was rendered before the ceremony by Mm. BUI Duckworth, organist, and Miss Martha Hollis, vocalist. Usher-groomsmen were: MessM. J. M. Bennett. Tom Moore, Lelsnd King and J. B. Thompson, mil of Ware Shoals. The bride’s attendants were Mm. J. M. Bennett, sister of the bride, of Ware Shoals, mstron-of-honor; Miss Frances Killingsworth, of Ware Shoals and Blacksburg, maid-of-bonor; Miss Mary Summerkl, of Ware Shoals and Miss Elizabeth Hendrix, of Camden, bridesmaids. All attendants wore light blue dresses of net and carried nose gays of white carnations, inteMpereed with defense stamps and tied with red ribbon. Little Miss Mary Jean Kinghorn, of Hodgbs and Ware Shoals, wgs the flower girl. Master Harold Lilleton, Jr,, nephew of the groom, of Camden, wore a miniature offioeM uniform and enter ed carrying the ring on the propeller of a small white airplane. The bride entered with her father, George L. McCuen, who gave her away, and was met at the altar by the bridegroom, with his best man, Jerry Rush, of Camden. The bride’s wed ding gown was of white lace fashioned with a sweetheart neckline, long fit ted sleeves, elongated waistline and a billowy skirt extending into a sweep ing train.
