pink taffeta and her flowers were rose
carnations. The bride, given In mar
riage by her father, W. J. Parker, was
gowned In a floor 'length of white
mousseline and she carried a bouquet
of white roses, tube rote-buds, cen
tered with an orchid and showered
with white satin ribbons.
The. groom was attended by his
father, Eugene Holland, as best man.
The double ring ceremoAy was used
with Rev. Wilson Roy Parker, brother
of the bride of Duke university, Dur
ham, officiating. Following the cere
mony the couple left for an undis
closed destination on their wedding
trip. Upon their return they will
make their borne in Camden. ,
The bride is the yoiingest daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. -Parker Cas
satt and Is a. graduate ot the Midway
High school. She later attended
Spartanburg Junior college and has
been employed at the local exchange
of the Southern Bell Telephone com
pany. Mr. Holland, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Ehigene Holland, Cassatt, is a
graduate of Midway High school and
the Palmetto Bcheol -of— Aeronaatics
at Columbia. He is now employed
with the Defense Plants Corporation
of this city.
