Pvt Charlie McCaskill of Camp Rucker, Ala., is here on ten day leave visiting his mother, Mrs. J. P. Lewis, and Mr. Lewis. Mr. and Mm. Thomas A. Mr. and Mrs. John Whitaker. Jr., 1409 Mill St. Rer. John J. Oravatt, Bishop of the Episcopal diocese of upper South Osroiios, officiated. The couple were unattended. Following the ceremony the young couple left for Sea Isladd, Ga., where they will spend their 'honeymoon. After July 11, they will be at home at Maxwell Field, Ala. Mrs. Hauprleh Is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jtshn Whitaker, Jr., and has been foremost In social affaira and also active in equestrian affairs of tbe Camden winter culb. She at tended Cornell unlvemlty following her graduation from the Camden High school. Major Hauprleh Is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew S. Hauprleh, Van Buren Drive, Gary, Indiana. He at tended Purdue unlvemlty, where he was a member of the Purdue Glider club. For several yearn he waa com manding office at Southern Aviation school here and is now located at Maxwell Field, where he has super vision over all of the primary achools in the Southeaatem Training com mand. The bride wore a becoming two- piece model of white crepe and a cor sage of red rose buds. Her only at tendant was Mm. Qynn Armour of Tippo, Miss., matron of honor, who wore a blue crepe frock with touches of lace. Her corsage was of pink sweetpeas snd pink rose bods. Pfc. Aaron L. BIRTHDAY DINNER PARTY FOR BUDDY BHCORN Buddy Shebm, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wiley Sheorn, was given a surprise birthday dinner party at 8:80 Satur day night at bis home on Mill street by his mother. Seventron of Buddy's friends congratulated him upon his 17th birth|Uty and gave him a formal farewell Mfore leaving for school soon. Buddy has enlisted in the A. S. T. Reserve program.
