Thla up to date establishment is
having the entire ceiling area covered
with masonite panels, adding greatly
to the appearance of the interior o^
the place.
Work of repainting and renovating
the front of the store, embracing the
display windows has been completed
and now the Interior is in the hands
pc carpenters^ As soon as they com.
plete their part of the work, painters
will take over to repaint.
The lofty celling of the Eichel
store, with the extensive flourescent
lighting system makes the place as
bright as day. The daylight system
also extends to the llldminatlon of the
display windows.
McLeod Named To
Democratic National
Sheriff J. H. McLeod- of Kershaw
county, was elected as a delegate from
the fifth congressional district to the
''•Chicago national democratic conven*
lion at the state convention held in
Columbia Wednesday. |
Thomas A. Anorum of Camden, was
named as an alternate delegate.

who is with the American army in
Italy, likes the Camden Chronicle and
the American Red Cross.
In a letter Just received by his
parents Private Rush states that he is
glad to see how well Camden pe<H>le
are cooperating with the Amwlcan
Red Cross. He says the organisation
is tops and has done so much to keep
up the morale of the Amariaai^ filillffv:
