fesalon* In the City of Camden, 8.
for the year from May 1, 1944,
to May .1, 1949.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and
Councllmen of the City of Camden, in
Council assembled and by the author
Ity of the same.
Section 1, Erery person, firm, com
pany or corporation, engaged on May
1, 1343, In any calling, buelness, pro
fession or occupation in whole or In
■part within the City of Camden, as
may be hereinafter specified, shall ob
tain during the month of May, 1944,
a license therefor In the manner here
inafter prescribed. Every person, firm,
company or corporation commencing
business in said city on or before the
first day of May, 1944, shall In like
manner obtain a license therefor be
fore entering upon such calling, busl-

Section 2. Every person, firm, com
pany or corporatlop engaged In or In
tending to engage In any calling, busi
ness. profession or. .occupation for
which a license Is required, shall ap
ply to the Clerk and Treasurer of the
City of Camden Jor the same—by
whom all such licenses shall be Is
sued. and shall at the time of apply
ing. make and sign a written state
ment under oath, and file It with the

The City Council reserves the. right
to revoke any license for any cause
which to them may seem to be just

ery of such license tax and penalties.
And provided further, that any per
son, firm, company or corporation who
ahall carry on, or attempt to c.nrry
on any calling, business, profession
or fMcupatlon without a license ag
herein required, or who shall neglect
or refuse to give the information re
quired or to answer such question as
may he required or who shall fall to
attend, before t.he Mayor to be exam
Ined by him when so required, as pro
vided In Section 2 and 3 of this ordi
nance may be deemed guilty of a vio
lation thereof before the Municipal
Court and may be fined not more than

Section 4. All licensee granted un
