Dr. Maurice Clarke, rector of Grace
Church, stated that the show, present
ed by the ^ys of the church, was the
most successful in the histofy of the
effort.
A special blue ribbon ^award was
given to an exhibit of five puppies, the
property of Mr. W. C. .Salmond, and
who*were exhibited in the ring by
Mias Sarah J. Eldridge. These puppies
were of a moat interesting breed, the
OMther being a valuable rat terrier
owned by Mrs. Samuel Russell and the
father ^Ing a Lbassa terrier, his
species known only In Tibet. The
dogs were in a wire cage which wu
mounted on a small cart. The exhibit
atfraeted-mueh attention and i>artien
larly with the smallerr children who
thronged around the cart throughout
the afternoon.
