She taught music in Camden and until
the time of her death, this week, at
90, she was interested in her music.

Master Henry E„ Beard,3rd, was
host to 20 of his young friend's on
Tuesday afternoon. Nov. 2,- at the
home, of his grandparents, Mr. and
Mrs. H. E. Beard, at Mlllbank. Tbe
occasion for this celebration was the
second birthday of this young man.
Afte'r moch hilarity over the opening
of the presents, the host’s. mother,
Mrs. H. E. Beard, Jr., (Ellen Alexan
der) assisted by Mrs. J. B. Canty and
Mrs. H. E. Beard, served ice cream
and cake. Master Beard cut his beau
tifully discorated birthday cake, ad
orned with 'two candles, and presented
a piece to ekeb guest. Papw hats and
other merry-making favors were given
everyone and a- huge time- was had
by all.

The' bride, given in marriage by
her father, wore a brown two-piece
gabardine suit, with small brown felt
hak) hat with matchipg veiling, brown
accessories and a corkage of cypeiper-
lum orchids.
Miss Jane Lacblcotte of Florence,
was maid of honor. She worh a dress
of periwinkle blue crepe, brown acces
sories and talisman roses.
Lewis Steames Robinson, cousin of
the bridegroom, was best man for Mr.
Massie.'
