Ellis. W, G. Ellis presented Mr. ‘An
derson an Army bag with a hundred
dollar check, as a token of love and
appreciation from the members of the
church. Mrs.’Will Ellis then presented
Mrs, Anderson with a lovely gift.
Mr. Anderson has entered the Arm
ed forces as a chaplain with the rank
of First Lieut. Although he has been
pastor of the Baptist church here for
only a year, he has done a great work
in this field and has endeared himself
to the members of his congregation.
Both he and Mrs. Anderson have -many
friends here and will be greatly miss
ed by all. Before coming here Mr.
Anderson was assistant pastor to Rev.
J. B. Gaston of Camden.
