the Armed services, and you vrould like to feel
that you’re doing more as your part, this is an

one evening each week toward the furtherance

camps would have to be retained in this coun
try were it not for the State’s home front pro
tection—in the form of dhe S. C. State Guard.

ARE DOING A BIG SHARE! •
You are furnished a neat uniform, as prescribed
by the South Carolina Adjutant General, which
* you will wear at all drills, and with competent
instructors who will teach you, (who don’t
know military) the elements and principles of
military regulations,''as are prescribed by the
U. S. Army,
Meraberehip in this unit does not have any
bearing^-whatsoever on your draft status . . .
but it DOES equip potential soldiers with the
training a»d knowledge which is the backbone
of their basic training after induction into the
armed forces.
HOW TO JOIN—
Any Tuesday evening between the hours of
8:00 and 9:30', come in (at the New Gamden
Armory) and ask any further questions you
wish. Come down one Tuesday night and
watch the Company-drill. •
The Enlistment Officer will a6c^t your appli
cation for membership into the Company, and
on your acceptance you will be supplied with
uniform and instructors.
