Mr. Farmer: Help Us Produce Food For Freedom
WE'RE YOUR NEIGHBOR
We are glad to be in Camden?and to be engaged
in the production, during the war, of FIGHTING
FOOD, that will be shipped to our boys on the
battle fields of the world and to help in feeding
the oppressed peoples of devastated countries.
HERES WHAT YOU CAN D0Our
plant will require thousands of bushels of
sweet potatoes and many hundreds of tons of
cabbage during the season. We are depending
on the farmers of Kershaw County and the adjoining
counties to supply us with these farm
products in order that we may meet the production
quota that has been assigned to us.
THIS MEANS CASH IN YOUR HANDS
The opening of this plant will provide a ready
cash market for your sweet potatoes and cabbage.
Other crops are adapted to dehydration
and in the future we plan to assist in every possible
way to develop the agricultural resources
of this area by handling these commodities
through the plant and developing markets for
them.
LOOKING TO THE FUTURE
. While war needs will take the entire production
of FRESH DRY FOODS* INC., for the duration, .
this plant was not built as a temporary war
measure. 'When peace corned we expect to dehydrate
food products that will be used in the
homes of this country, and for shipment to other
lands.
