Lieut. Richards Now At Rosecranz Field Lieut. John G. Richards, IV, who has Just completed his advanced training In flying at Craig Field, Selma, Alabama, is now stationed at Rosecranz at St. Joseph, Mo., where j he is a member of a fighter group and where he Is to receive his operational training. Lieut. Richards received ! his ground school training at Maxwell Field, Montgomery, Ala., then went to the primary school at Carlston Field, Arcadia, Fla., took his basic training at Shaw Field, S. C., and completed his training at the advanced school at Craig Field, Selma, Ala. Superintendent and Mrs. J. G. Richards attended the graduation of Lieut. Richards at Crajg Field where he was one of a class of 212 flyers. Lieut. Richards' career since he started his ground school training has been most outstanding from the standpoint of progress. At Shaw Field not only was he tops In his flying but he also took first rank In the athletic program that was carried out among the students. His wrecking of the obstacle course record made the headlines in many newspapers. Isaac j Newton Alexander, son of Col. nnd Mrs. Thomas Loryea Alexander of | Camden. The marriage rites was conducted by Dr. Maurice Clarke. D.D., rector of Grace Episcopal church of Camden. The bride, who was given In marriage by her father, M. C. Thebaut, bad as her maid of honor, Mrs. R. C. Downing of Atlanta, Ga., while Misses Anna Thebaut of Atlanta, Ga., and Meta Alexander and Meta Boykln were the bridesmaids. The groom was attended by his father, Col. Thomas L. Alexander. Ushers were Lt. Oliver F. Aho of Fort Jackson, and James A. Alexander and Baynard S. Boykln of Boykln. The spacious rooms of Millway plantation were decorated with spring flowers and emllax and the ceremony took place before an Improvised altar banked in green with silver candelabra arranged in front of along mirrow.
