Lieutenant Shelton West, who is
now in foreign servipes.
Mrs. West is the daughter of Mrs.
Boykin Rhame. Sr., and the late Mr.
Rhame. of Camden. She is a graduate
o( the Camden high school and will
resume her studies as a senior at
Winthrop college this fall.
Lieutenant West is the son of Mrs.
Shelton J. West, Sr., and the late
.Mr. West, of Camden. After graduating
from the Camden high school, he
attended the Citadel, and graduated
In the class of 1942. He then received
a commission as second lieutenant
In the Coast Artillery Corps and he is
now stationed in Boston, Mass., with
the 605th" Coast Artillery.

Graham Goes With Air Force

N. Y., formerly of Camden,
S. C., a sophomore at Williams
college, has joined the navy air force,
according to word received from the
Naval Aviation Cadet selection board
by the North Adams draft board.
Graham, formerly of 2 Morgan hall
here, expects to start flight training

Camden Man's Mother Dead
Arrangements for the funeral of
Mrs. Cornelia McNarama Scott, 70,
wife of Zachary E. Scott, who died
Monday night in a local hospital,
last night were pending the arrival
of out-of-town relatives. The body
will remain at Yandle-Weathers funeral
home until the time for services.
Surviving Mrs. Scott are her husband:
four sons. Guy M. Scott of
Camden. S. C., Ernest Z. Scott of
Dallas. Texas. Herman S. Scott of
Ashevllle. and Albert H. Scott of
the U, S. Coast Guards; two sisters
Mrs. Minnie Brown of Portland'.
