We wish to inform the public of the following revisions! in the government regulations controlling credit J On April 27, 1942 I THE PRESIDENT'S SPECIAL MESSAGE TO CONGRESS READS IN PART: fl .. encourage the payment of debts, mortgages and other obligations." Now The Law Reads 1 IN REGULATION?W?AS REVISED EFFECTIVE MAY 6, 1942, CHARGE ACCOUNTS, ~1 IN PART AS FOLLOWS: ?|1 (a) No listed article shall be s6ld in a charge account with an agreement that payment fl therefor may be deferred beyond the 10th day of the second calendar month following the calendar month during which such article was sold. j (b) When a charge account is in default, the Registrant shall not extend credit to the o&! ligator for any charge sale or installment sale of any listed article until the default has been cured. I (c) A charge account shall be deemed to be in default if any article (whether listed or unj listed) for which credit was extended if such account has not been paid for in full on or before the 10th day of the second calendar month following the calendar month during fl which such article was sold. ! or in Ordinary Every Day Words EVERY CHARGE ACCOUNT DATED ON OR BEFORE MAY 31st MUSf BE j PAID IN FULL ON OR BEFORE JULY 10th, 1942, OR YOUR CREDIT WILL I BE "CUr OFF" k j "1 ! If you have a charge account with any Camden merchant we urge you to settle your past due and present account before July 10 in order that your credit will not be cut off.
