Tomorrow appthor roll of victors and vanquished will appear on the record books along about 6 p. m. ? And folks, remember, tomorrow will also record whether Camden or Sumter wins tonight's game at Sumter. One of the big numbers to be offered (luring the free act program will be a dare-devil feat by Freddie Reckless who will gyrate In the air on the top of a 110 foot steel pole. If one'really wanted lo know how dt felt to be atyjp a slim, swaying 110 foot high pole, the best man to ask would be Freddy Reckless, for this is no novelty to him. Reckless will perform daily at the Fair Woek hore. Reckless works entirely without nets or safety devices of any kind and apparently has plenty of nerve or no nerves. His- apparatus is really a gigantic fishing pole and flexible. Naturally he isn't content to merely climb the pole. Upon reaching the top he proceeds to do hand stands, head stands, push outs, all breath taking stunts done with perfect calmness and enjoyment. As ho performs the high steel pole ' sways and quivers and almost snaps into bits seeming to bend nearly double at some times. His stunts make tho audience watch with horrified gasps until the climax which is a slide for life down the pole. Th^fl will be only one of the many attractions coming to the fair.
