Griffith, a recent bride. The specious
parlors of the old home, decorated ,
with lovely garden flowers, was the u

Negro mammy in bandana kerchief v
reminiscent of colonial days, brought
in upon her head a large basket con- ?
talning gifts for Mrs. Griffith's (]
kitchen, and curtsied before her.
Refreshments consisting of puuch,
sandwiches and cakes were served
from the dining room where the table 3
decorations carried out the motif of ^
the other rooms. A- bowl of pastel ?
sweet peaH was In the center of the ?
beautifully appointed tea table and it 3
was lighted with white candles in 'H
lovely antique candleabra. Mrs. H
