Cow Adopts a Calf
Ross \V. Beeves had the inlsforliine
<?f losing one of his milk rows a lew
days ago She left a beautiful calf
about a week or ten days old. Mrs.
Reeves began feeding the calf and one
afternoon when the other cows came
in the little motherless calf ran to one
of the cows and began to nurse. The
cow let both of the calves nurse and
she has had no more feeding to do
except give the cow an extra amount
of fo<xi. She has named the calves
Mary and Martha. They seem almost
like twins, yet Mai y Is a few dais older
than the little motherless calf. Mrs.

game and one practice, that being a
year ago when sho was taken with an
attack of* flu. That Illness by the
way, was responsible for Camden losing
