The _
CAMDEN CHRONICLE
and
THE CAMDEN and KERSHAW COUNTY
CHAMBER of COMMERCE
extends to the City of Camden, the County of Kershaw, the Red Cross, the Junior
League, Anti-Tuberculosis Association, the Camden Police and Fire Departments
and all other organizations and citizens a heartfelt wish for a very happy and pros- '
perous New Year!
The Chronicle and the Chamber of Commerce, co-partners in broadcasting of
publicity for Camden and Kershaw County wishes to thank the city officials, county
officials and the officers of all other civic and service groups for the fine cooperation
which has made Camden the most favorably talked of city in the state.
The Chronicle and the Chamber of Commerce believes Camden has reason to believe
that a new vista of prosperity is coming over the Camden horizon. The acquisition
of the new army flying training school is but one of many progressive events
to feature 1940. iMay the same spirit of progress, good will and prosperity continue
in Nineteen Hundred and Forty-One!
