He had been Ashing lower down the stale. He said fishing luck was pretty good. He got in contact with Henry Cantey, colored, who got him to moving again. We are told that two prominent ladies of our village were held prisoners for some time one day last week. It seems that one lady was calling on the other and- they went into the lot for some purpose -frhen a vicious mule chased them into the barn where they were prisoners for some time ...before anyone came to rescue theJn.
